    Our Story

Pamela grew up (since age 9) on this horse farm along with

her brother Scott, Mother Clarice and Step Dad Ken. Riding

horses became ‘second nature’. Her first pony 'Cindy Lou’

(actually a boy pony) introduced her to the joy of riding.

Later, 'Savage' – a Quarter horse, became a loyal and gentle

    companion throughout her youth.

Eventually, Pamela’s two sons – Alex and Quinn – would

create their own great memories at the farm. They also

learned to ride horses, along with other outdoor activities.
Mostly, they enjoyed the unrestrained pampering of
Grandma and Grandpa (who sadly, are no longer with us).

As time marched on, the joke between Pamela (who loved

the farm) and her step dad was Pamela would suggest an

idea for restoring the property and Ken would always chuckle

and reply, “Yep, that’s a great idea. You can do it after
I’m gone.” While the teasing banter went on for years, the
serious idea of restoring the farm grew legs.

In 2010, Robin Marohn & Pamela were married. At that time, the old farm was not in ‘event-ready’ condition, so they looked for an appealing outdoor site, but couldn’t find one. Once again, the idea of restoring the farm and barn was ever present. While both Robin and Pamela have busy careers, the importance of preserving the farm and turning the site into something beautiful for another generation to enjoy became more important.

In 2013, the restoration work began and the idea of simple preservation evolved into creating an exquisite place for not just their family, but everyone to enjoy! After a full year of red tape, engineering & architectural reports, construction & landscaping crews – the dream of restoring this beautiful farm, nestled in Blue Valley, has become a reality.

Our Personal Note:  We hope this magical place will create wonderful memories for you, just as it has for our family.
